:rolleyes:Here's mine, be sure to have your upholstery guy glue Serape (Blanket) to upholstery material backing, before stiching. When this stuff is cut a the end it falls apart, This stuff separates easily. I used imitation black leather.

    Good for you!
I've always been of the opinion that the car seat cover blanket should be of local geographic origin.
Mexican Blanket's only look right in cars that are within a day's drive± of the Mexican border.
Other areas should use a local "tartan"
A Mexican blanket in a Canadian car would look about as reasonable as a surf board on the roof of a car in Omaha.

( I never noticed that blanket behind Farrah before! Is it photoshopped? )

So what would we put in our cars in england, i dont think we have a national blanket

mind you we import the cars from the US so i guess importing mexican blankets to put in them is quite acceptable?

At the time we were building our car, our neighbor across the street was an upholsterer. So we had him do our seat in a cheap eBay blanket we had. He warned us that it would not be very durable but that was okay.

And he was right, it started to come apart at the seams after about a year.
Five years later, it was sun faded and more duct tape than blanket.

So this past winter we replaced it with this from EZ Boy Interiors:

Just did mine today and I gotta say it's much improved over what was there... it will all be redone professionally as soon as I can afford it, but this works for now. Only 25 bucks to get it all covered!

A poncho in a Poncho WOULD be in good taste! :)
