Another Showdown has come and gone and I have to say that I think this was the best one of all........a great bunch of "appropriate" rods and kustoms........only a few *inappropriate* rods.......a great crowd, a laid back vibe and the best weather day you could ask for......about 70 degrees with a little breeze and bright sunshine all day! A real winner all the way around........thanks to Larry, Kim and all of the rest of the staff (especially you SkateFink) for hosting another great show!

And now for some pics.......my good friend, Stache, and I drove up on Friday afternoon to meet and greet at Zach Suhr's house.......the Flyers were there in force, as was Yankee Dave, MetalHotRodGirl, HotRodHeidi, and the other usual suspects.........had a good time jawboning and scarfing burgers there and then we met at 7:30 Saturday morning for the caravan to Latimore......Dirtyest Devil showed up bright and early with his killer Deuce roadster with a built banger with OHV conversion.........HotRodSurfer also showed up driving Flt-Blk's '59 El Camino..........

Stache and I served as the *Chase Car* and he shot a ton of pics of the Flyers driving over through Harrisburg and on to Latimore.......

Here goes the pics and I'll just let them tell the story.......

    Brucie,

I've said it before, and I'll say it again - the quality of your pictures allows us non-attendees to really experience the atmosphere of the event. You've done well.

    Thank you.

Thanks for the great pics Bruce! It was hard to catch everything going on the whole time. Was cool to see your caravan in action. I cruised up by myself in advance to help set things up for others. It's always more fun with comrades.

Thanks too for catching my 55 Olds on the track. As clean as that car looks in the pic, there was a lot of mud to shovel up after swapping wheels and tires today. But worth it..............

Not to put you to more work, but are you going to be at the Jalopy Drags in a few months? Would be great to see more pics like these from there again.

    Thanks again!
