    go buy a tape measure.

  3. A tape measure would help. I did this swap years ago......cut 6" out of the bed right behind the front panel. Then all the holes line up....also have to bob 6" off the end of the frame. Here's my 62 with a 66 bed....

  4. One in the avatar pic appears to have a 57-60 bed on it.

    ah, the infamous "wrongbed"

this might help: (notice the 14" difference in front of rear axle from lwb to swb)

the guy I bought my truck from actually lengthened a short bed, and made it a "medium bed" since it's not quite a long bed.... weird but looks good

From 61 thru 63 if you had 4 wheel drive or did not want the unibody you got the 57 thru 60 style box.

  7. Now that you mention it, I think I once knew about that and forgot.
