Wow Chris! So rad! You need to show up at Cars N Coffee in Sandy next to the STi's, EVO's, Corvettes, and what not. haha It will "break necks" as the kids say these days. :)

I like the stance you've achieved. It's not super dumped low. It's just the right amount of low. It's going to be a shame to cover this metal work in paint, but as long as you/we take lots of pictures of it, we can all be satisfied.

Keep up the good work. Can't wait to see how it progresses to the Great White Dyno!

The decision to place the gas tank in the rear passenger compartment is about the only choice you have when building a sedan such as yours. The battery is another problem to content with. Sometimes safety gets in the way of a good design. I have watched Dennis fill his tank through the window and it doesn't look too hard or unsafe.

Foley from Reno has a very nice hibboy sedan that has a Halibrand type filler coming out of the drivers side. It may not be your style but it beats having a gas smell in your car all day. I like the tank/bladder idea... even if you have to save a little longer. I wouldn't want anything to happen to you at such a young age as the world needs talent like yours to keep the spirit going strong. Maybe Moal would have some clever ideas how you could build a safe tank. He installs lots of tanks in the trunks of roadsters. My 2 cents.

I talked to moals, and they get their bladders from fuelsafe. I called them there and they said it would cost me 1,600 to get a bladder. So thats probably not going to happen :)

Ill just make the tank out of 1/8" aluminum and just work it from there.

Awsome car. On your gas tank deal, why not put the rear frame horns back on? Tank solved and still look good. I think anyway.

Did you try to run stock spindels with bended arms before you decided to go with aftermarket arms? On mine it,s close with the tie rod interfering with the spring mounting hardware. But I would love to be able to run the stock arms for the look. I think the Rolling bones are runing stock arms. What about bended tie rod?

    Any tougths?

The spindles im using were some later ones I had at the shop. I didnt have any 32 spindles. The main thing you want to make sure to have right is the ackerman angle. Basically you want a line from the center of the kingpin through the center of the steering arm, and it should intersect the center of the rear axle. Check this out: http://www.beam-wiki.org/wiki/Steering_Techniques

I know my car sits a lot lower in the front than the rolling bones do. So I had to use the later drop steering arms to clear everything. On yours you could probably just heat and bend the steering arms down just keep the ackerman angle true and you will be ok. Also look at switching it so your steering rod so it is mounted underneath the steering arm instead of on top. My aftermarket steering arms were tapered on top and bottom so I could choose either way.

I got the wheels painted today. Defiantly love the color. My buddy will be striping them this weekend.

Great color on the wheels. Are you ready to leak out the body color yet?
