Newbie from Ohio

Discussion in 'New to the H.A.M.B.? Introduce yourself here!' started by Guacamole John, May 4, 2010.

  1. Howdy everybody, name is Johnny and I'm from Yellow Springs. Been all joined up for a while, just never seem to get the time to log on and introduce myself. Really in to late '50's and early '60's show rods and land speed racing. The newest Project is a '57 f100 that I just picked up a little while back. Plans include a 3" drop axle, 2x4 offy intake w/ford teapots, Isky cam and eventually some 'flake. Just looking to make a solid tow vehicle out of it for my "someday i might actually get to it" salt flat project

THANKS! Yes dropped axle and mono leaf up front. Which equals out to be 6.5" drop and a 6" mono out back with a small "c" notch.

  14. Bill, A liitle much for what I want but it looks good down in the dirt! I got a 4" axle from Sid's but was wondering where you picked up the mono's. Want to put them in the rear but have had a time trying to find a set.
