Going as a spectator this year, new wheels not finished. Actually I did the same thing last year! Looking forward to seeing my old friends in Aces and Eights, who are coming in force along with the Gasket Goons contingent. No Rumble to the Lake this year, so this will be the only local show in this area.

 

Koz... enjoyed Rumble last year! Had a great time.

 

I'll be there, without my ride. The state is making me jump through hoops of fire to get legal. What, no Rumble at the Lake!? That had to be a perfect show, really.

im going as a spectator this year(i recently quit the club because of no time for it). should be a great time ,new location ,3 great bands and lots of cool cars and bikes, oh and nice weather ,it was cold any damp the last 2 years. 80 degrees this year wooooo hooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

my brother is getting married tomorrow, so, yea, kinda have to go to that. haha.

 

Both cars down and busy as hell, nope. One year I'll make it.

Cars were great,people were great.weather was great,food was great , hotel parking lot was not so great Oley fair grounds was a better site . We even went home on sun via Oley to make sure our memory of the place wasn't fooling us . 4 votes on going back to Oley .

 

I had a blast, too! Always fun to catch up with old friends and see the progress on their cars.

While I liked the Oley site, I preferred the new location. When the temperature hit 90 degrees, it was nice to have an air-conditioned hotel to duck into. Better still, Pappy T's Pub was open all day for food and drink. And Dibbs Preston and the Detonators really rocked it at night!

 

we had a great time !! I like oley fairgrounds but I think this venue is better because of the exposure .lots of people just showed up . I saw the workers at the car dealership across the street just scratch their heads .Dont think they ever saw a show like that .Nice to see everyone from the aces and eights .There is no bad blood .Everyone had fun ..

I want to thank the Violators for doing a great event.
And also the Aces & Eights gang for the hospitality.
I liked Oley, too. But these guys could run this thing anywhere.
The whole package: people, cars, vendors, music, food, is what makes this a special event. The facility is secondary.
