Can someone tell me what color Ford used on their 1954 passenger car Inline sixes?

  2. I believe the trucks used a sort of aqua green in that year...I don't have the code right now but I can find it later. Dunno if the passenger cars are the same...

I took the six out of my 53 about 35 years ago to clean and repaint it. I know it had never been out before and I discovered the perfect match for it was (I hate to say it) Chevy orange.

Yes, it is very close to the chevy orange... But, keep in mind, it wasn't exactly Chevy's color in 54'! I would go Black with a gold valve cover if it isn't a stocker; that would be unmistakabley ford!

That's great! Thank you guys for your input! It seemed that it would be a red/orange color. Thanks Again!!
