Looks pretty solid, what's the plan of action? There was a pretty decent running, driving, still working one for sale here locally a couple of years ago and I didn't have the cash available to buy it at the time.
Push the roof back out & knock out the other 3 dents, get it running, sort out the interior, get the wheels/tires/brakes sorted, fit new glass, rebuild the (oak) bed... then *maybe* paint... It will get painted one day.... but I may leave it like is it for a while, it's not going to get any worse out here in the Mojave...
JEEZ, look how freakin' long those windshield swing arms are! The windshield must open to full horizontal or slightly higher. And those tall wiper stands and original wire-type wiper arms above the windshield. Note the GI tow hooks poking out above the front bumper irons. Original olive drab on the seat frame inside, interior and the doors etc.

I always wondered if there is a way to find out where a Military vehicle was used by the numbers painted on.... probably not One other thing; I thought all the old Ford 1.5 tons had 5 lug wheels... I don't recall seeing 6 on a Ford.
Got a call earlier today that it has been picked up from the friends place in Clovis where we moved it to a couple of weeks back & it will be home in SoCal sometime early on Friday
It's looking a bit better today.... so much for deciding to do paint last.. but I got figdgety waiting on the manuals.
Nice! Love these old trucks! What are you thinking drivetrain wise? Restore the original or transplant a modern diesel? Love those historical pictures too. I'll be watching what you do with it!
