My '32 has the B motor snubber mounted on the firewall. I think I am able to get the rest of the parts, but was hoping someone has some decent pictures of what this should look like complete.

I only have the firewall mount, no other parts so would love if someone had good pictures of how it would look assembled.

Here is my firewall... it's actually out of the car get painted right now but this is when I first purchased it.

    Thanks.

Are you sure you need a snubber? It may have been removed after an overhaul and a balanced crank was installed.

I don't believe the motor was ever overhauled... so I figured I'd get the pieces and install.

I think the pieces are pretty reasonable so why not.

I just have no idea what it looks like complete.

I think the assembly is called an "engine stabilizer"...it's included in an exploded view of a B motor on page 102 A, of a April 1949 Ford chassis parts catalog I have.

I can tell you, I took mine off. I had a rattle i couldn't find, I traced it to the snubber and removed it. Rattle went away and the car shook less. I did have a balanced assembly though. I run mine without it, with no shake and no problems. it's a 32-5W.--TV

I haven't really run the car much, but figured I'd put it on. We'll see what happens, if not I can always take it back off.
