Old Helments

Are there people who are interested in OLD or NOS Bell Stars? Collectors, not users, I would guess.

 

I don't think there are many helmet collectors. I buy and sell some if I can get them dirt cheap at garage sales. I pick them up from $1-$10. The metelflake ones are popular.

 

There is actually a pretty big group of collectors of helmets. Just check out the bay to see what some of them go for. The earlier they are, the more expensive they are.

 

They are good to pinstripe on or use for garage art and that's about it .
I would like to get some solid color and metal flake helmets for my garage wall !

Here is a $3 garage sale find from today, lol.

 

I have a decent collection of helmets, I pick them up at swaps or ebay if I find them cheap enough. You would probably be able to sell whatever you have, just dont think you are going to get rich doing it.

LOL, I actually left the garage sale after he quoted me $5 and it just haunted me so I went back after it closed up and got it for $3. Glad I went back just so it won't bug me! lol

 

How could you walk away from that for $5?

 

It was a momentary lapse of judgement that I have since corrected.
