    1959 9 inch 370 posi. I believe 50.5 inches backing plate to backing plate. Fenderless car. 14 inch salt flat rims with 4.5 inch backspacing. Fits perfect.

    Im running a '40 Ford rear under mine. I converted it to a spring over setup with a reversed eye "A" spring. Perfect width!

    This is what I'm running under my 27 Roadster w/ a chassis.

    This is under the coupe. It'll get the Hot Rod Works conversion to 9" shafts since my Y Block will be a tad more powerful than a flatty.

    8" numbers said it was a montego rear end.
    Full Fender A Tudor..57 " wide WMF to WMF (drum to drum)
    7" wide wheel with 3" Bs..and P235/75R15's

    My 2 door has an 8 inch with a spool.
    I wouldn't have an unlocked rear end in a light car.
    Been doing it for 50 years. I even drive in the rain.
    I have even taught cops how to do it.
