    '72ish Speedway Shrike
8hp Tecumseh, no pegs, no brakes.
It's a bit hairy to ride, but you get used to it after a while.
Worst part about it is the tecumseh ignition. Stupid internal points.

  9. Here is my Manco. It will be running a 50's Briggs 6BS. The front end is not much to look at and it needs a smaller front rim.

Here`s one completed about 3 years ago. Trail Horse Frame (Bonanza clone), 2- 98cc Sachs engines (West Germany), 2- Max Torque clutches, and all n.o.s. vintage parts from 1968-72.

Here's one I built last October-ish for the Florida Billetproof Drags. I liked it better in black primer, but later flaked it out silver. Yep it has a parachute, bababooyaa!!! Custom made tank, mid-controls, scrub brake, shotgun exhaust, internal throttle cable, chain guard, wheelie bars, bla, bla, bla...

Check out this video, and search "vonloppy" on Youtube for more crazyass stuff happening in the Salvagerz World.

Here's the link to that magazine article: http://www.vintageprojects.com/mini-bike/pocket-bike.pdf For some reason they took off the name of the magazine but I seem to remember it may have been Mechanix Illustrated. I think the one unkamort saw was a different minibike, I have a copy of that Car Craft magazine somewhere.

Yeah I've gotten sucked down into this too, I started with the "swap meet transportation" excuse and in the last week since I made the $30 investment, its running in the front of projects. Investment is still below $60 and now I have 6 derelict small engines to climb over!!!!!

Okay sports fans! Here it is! Probably no one remembers, but I promised to post a picture of my mini when I knew how. Ta Da! Also, For those that are in the Phoenix area - If it is not raining cats and dogs on Thursday evening a few of us are going to get together at my house in downtown Phoenix and ride around a bit. Most of humanity leaves when the little go home whistle sounds down here, so I have found it excellent for doing stupid things like buzzing around on my mini bike. I f you would like to join us give me a call at 602 881 0175 I'll try to throw some brauts on the grill maybe? Talk is of possibly taking a ride up to George and Dragon and having a refreshing adult beverage... On mini bikes, of course! P.S. I wish I could take a picture of this that would show the monsterflake metal chunk gold my buddy THE LIBERACE shot on this for me...
