Nice car but this one is not an Auburn Factory built car. Maybe a fiberglass factory, but not Auburn. Here is a real one:

<<< As far as trucks go, I love the 41-46 Chevrolet 'Art Deco' trucks. :D

1949 Chevrolets are the most beautiful cars ever made. it was thier advertising slogan that year "the most beautiful buy of all"

as for trucks there will never be a better looking truck than the 48-53 Chevrolets.

    I'll second that.........

I'll third or fourth or fifth it.... It was Bob Bourke on Raymond Loewy's design team who came up with most of the design, Loewy just took credit for it.

    Plus add the 63-65 Rivs

car - '53-'54 Studebaker, but not the '55 on.

I've always liked the Miura, and could have bought one back around '68? for around 12K, but my finances put me in the $200 or less car range at the time.:(

I could live with the '53-'54 Studebaker Hardtop, or a '60 Buick 2-door hardtop. The Buick has (to me) the most graceful roof and fenderlines ever.
A couple of us mentioned the '36-'37 Cord already, and that might just be the best mix of everything worthwhile, aesthetic and mechanical.
