Just back from Englishtown Swap meet, picked up this sprint car, has a flatty 60 with finned brass heads, anyone know anything about these? I'll work on gettng a better picture. It is based on a Crosley car, has Crosley transmission & rear & axles

Hope to have it running this weekend

    Cheers!

  8. Years ago I had a pair of Federal Mogul made brass/copper heads for the 24 stud flatheads, guess they could have also made them for the V8-60's.

Nice score!.The heads may be federal mogul heads,if they are brass.Seen some of those heads for the early 21 stud w/pump in heads and for 37-38 21 stud motors w/pumps in block.Love those heads. That is the first set that I've seen for the V8-60.If possible can we get some pictures of just the heads .Thanks.Again nice score.

With a 60 horse Flathead V8 and Crosley stuff its definatly a midget. A great find.

Either you're a very large person or that's a midget rather than a sprint car. I've wanted something like that for a long time. Would be worth buying a home in the country just to plow up my own dirt track. Congrats on your purchase.
