Spark Plugs pros and cons

    I would like to hear your feedback as far as is it ok to glass bead spark plugs. I know that there is a special coating that is applied on them. Once you have removed this coating may or may not perform the same. Or would it be safer to buy new ones. I know over the years I have had to glass beat a few and re install them with no issues. Let me know

    do you mean glass bead?
    although in reality you are beating them with glass beads.

    ive done the sand blasting of them from time to time on old engines that had a tendancy to foul them..but after a few times they became pretty useless
     
  3. I have used one of these for a while.

    At some point they become worthless, but you can usually get another round or two out of them.

    Best to find the reason for the fouling.
