Made time over the last couple days to PS my own project. Did an initial rendering last year. Been thinking about paint since the Round Up...went back into it for more detail first. Didn't go exactly as planned. What project does, right? :p

With a more solid base of my actual vehicle, now I'll try paint variations. And replace the background again once the Hellcamino has more color. ;)

my buddy just picked this up today, I was hoping someone could photoshop this for us. I am trying to convince him to go the whitewalls/chrome smoothie and maybe a two tone dark metallic paint. He was thinking cragars, slightly lowered, and gloss black. If someone could do both I was appreciate it greatly!!!
    thanks

    Chieftec160:
You didn't ask for it, but I liked the GAZ and decided to to some customizing.
Just cleaned up the hood, removed the mirrors and number plate.

The grille surround reminded me of a 1956 Chrysler Windsor. I was going to add some bars from that car, but could not find a good photo to use. So I just used the chrome grille surround itself and made a waterfall look.

Oh, and I chopped the top an inch or so.

    Hi Russian ,
I like your Volga. Similar grille to my version. Is that stock?
I especially liked the purple GAZ with the chopped top.
I believe you can improve the looks of anything with a little careful redesign!

Someone in another thread was asking about chopping a four door tri-five.

I believe the looks of this car (not mine) could be improved by the use of a curved rear door top, such as found on the 1950 four door (minus the vent wing).

    Anyone care to try? Thanks!
(BTW, the rear also needs lowering and the taillights tipped back slightly toward the front of the car)

Well, tried to do it myself in PS7.0 and couldnt figure out a damn thing! I am expecting my car to go to paint in late may, and still havent figured out the color scheme quite yet. I originally was thinking just straight black and maybe trying a chrome roof with a black pattern on it. The car, however, is originally a shade of blue and the engine bay and door jams and interior will stay blue, so now im thinking it might not look quite right not being a shade of blue. Anyway, if anyone wants to give it a shot that would be awesome, any photoshops of the car will help! So these are the things I was thinking, dark navy blue with chrome roof, or another shade of blue like a deep royal. Everything flat black or flat dark blue. Something along those lines. If some wants to try the finished product, I was thinking a dark blue paint with a chrome top with a dark blue pattern (old lowrider vine pattern or something), bagged with white walls. Thanks for any help, here are some pics to choose from.
