  1. Very cool! Love me them early Chevy-vans and the art work is the icing on the cake.

I'll be back for all the at-a-boys; suffice it to say, there's a lot of great, great art work on here this week.

Becoming the bore that I fear I'm becoming, Here's some older stuff 'til
I get to some newer stuff...

Here's Drag Daddy's friendly reminder about the upcoming Gear Grinder here in Kansas City.
Drag Daddy says he'll be there in person with tons of his art work.

  17. The talent that you guys have is mindblowing!

I'm starting to try my hand at photography. No real training and 99% of the stuff I shoot is total crap. Once in a while I get a shot that seems to stand out a bit to me and after messing around with some post-processing, I dig it.

Nothing compared to other stuff here...but knowing my talent level is low, it's cool when you take a shot that feels like someone else with a bit more talent was behind the camera.

    - This style, your style, is very film-noir and pulp-novel nouveau. Do you paint for the paperback industry? Your helmet from last FAS is stuck in my head.

    Hey man.
Over the years I've done just about every kind of thing you could think of in the ad business but nothing for the paper backs.
The noir thing is just what comes out when I paint what I want to paint.
Big fan of James Cagney and Humphrey Bogart from way back.
Throw in pulp novel cover and custom cars this is the stuff that comes out.
    Ha.
