    GREAT show, folks!!! Certainly in the Top Ten shows in the FAS, if you ask me!!!

    New giclee print on canvas of a piece I did back in 1970: Mlke Buckel dons his fire mask before another hellacious ride down the Mad Pad in the Ramchargers Challenger funnycar!

    its been a while since my last art show post cause of my finals but I just had to show my senior thesis. I decided to re-introduce Duesenberg to the world. just shot the clear last night and wont get a chance to color sand till next week but for a first time shooting black im really happy. and seeing as i was still carving the clay last week i never thought it would be this clean

  8. What steps are in between carving clay, and paint ?

    Looks like a lot of work.[​IMG]

    built the buck out of foam then packed and carved the clay. from there i had to shellac the model and throw primer on it before i could do bodywork. then just re primered and painted like a regular car. im finishing up the wheels tonight and Ill start putting in the details next week

    thanks guys! there is some nice stuff this week! I dig it all! (how could you not?)

    when i put something together that is FAS worthy i post it and One Arm Bandit comes in and Bitch slaps me back to my corner! lol I agree with RYZART!!!!

    my 8 year old Daughter woke up this morning and came a sat om my lap and started looking at all the great art here with me. then she asked if she could be in the art show. how do you say no.....
    so here is a traced drawing of one of our favotie artist George Trosley...I think Kass did a great job!

  30. I just want to say thanks for all the comments. I appreciate it a lot!! I got huge pile of rough drafts i'm going to work with the next days/week...dunno if i have something ready for next friday but soon...
