Thanks for the compliment 340. Yep, you wouldn't believe how much easier it is having spare parts for two cars when they are both the same.......... And if I've got something torn apart and not sure how to put it back together, look at the other one that's still together. Not sure if I got lazy or smart................
I brought it home as my project, she took one look and said "you know you are building that for me dontcha"? yes maam, I do now......
Wifes 33 ,it was her 59th birthday present, she's 60 tomorrow going to take her out to dinner this year
I'm under court order to not bring it out in public anymore... apparently the folks at the grocery store are still rinsing their eyes with vinegar.
Here is my wife's 52 Chevy. http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd85/steelinmotion/Geargoyles117.jpg http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd85/steelinmotion/Geargoyles118.jpg http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd85/steelinmotion/Geargoyles107.jpg
Her build is a '56 Fairlane gasser with a '55 front clip, built 312, 5 speed, 9 inch, bla bla blah. She's doing most of the work herself, including the engine build.
Not very HAMB friendly, but since you asked. 28 2dr, 350/350, 8" Ford, AC, 4WPD brakes, coil overs, some kind of weird insides she picked out. Would have been chopped, much lower, and black if it were mine. Not really hers anymore. We sold it when we moved to AZ but she drove it a lot and had fun with it. Want to build her a '55 two door post maybe.
uh... give me a break dude. why would you call out someone who has been a contributing member of this board for almost 10 years for trying to keep the threads on topic-as the board is designed. chevelles, mustangs, modern cars, etc. are not part of the mold of this site. i don't get what is so difficult to understand about that to some of you newer guys.
