Ok guys we all know how much we love bragging about our cars and showing them off, but does your wife dig cars and have one of her own ora work in progress? Lets see them. I have a 41 OLDS and my wife has a 72 chevelle. Both works in progress but fun for both of us.
Not a hot rod but a nice weekend cruiser. We had one just like it in the late 80s and she really enjoyed it. So after I got my dream ride (my 32 5W) I decided she should get her dream ride too.
Isnt the chevelle considered a muscle car?? and not a hot rod?? not trying to be a smartass just wondering??
not that i like imports but you would be amazed at the power that a 4cyl motor can make fyi!! but thats cool that your wife drives a 400 hp chevelle
I just checked in to this post to see what kind of juvenile, perverted responses you're going to get.
and you are right... and it's off topic... if your wife has an on topic car post it, otherwise go brag about her on the Chevelle sites...
This took away the tears from my wifes eyes when I sold the rusty model A and rolled this into the garage. It has heat and air and is wife friendly.
Nice Chevelle - nice Mustang - but the Hamb is for traditional Hot Rods & Customs. There are plenty of other Message Boards for that sort of thing.
Going to bag it for a very low ride height, and still be able to raise it for daily driving. I have all the original sheet metal. I have a picture of every cut I made to the roof, I'll post it some day.,
Ok can anyone tell me what the year cut off is for a hot rod I was under the impression if you Rebuilt a car with bigger better engine it was a hot rod
I understand but i was giving my wife some of the spotlight. God only knows how many time she has stood in the back ground on all my cars. She really likes Hot Rods of tradition but she couldn't watch me bring back another car from the dead again. She cried about the model A going down the road but she is also happy that we can be together in our "New modern day hot rod". We are in our 40's and the kids are grown so I'm putting down the sanding board. Dont worry I also do small funerals and bar mitz.vahs.
You are right, a hotrod is any vehicle that is "supped" up, can even be a 4cyl, anyone who wants to argue the fact can ask some old timers about when they first started modifying the flat fours!
Our '63 AWB project will be Kim's ride. Gotta respect a woman that does weekend liquor store runs in an 11 second car. Sorry to say, her DD is a 5 spd, Mustang GT 'vert. I think I'm seeing a trend... before this winters alter...
My wife and I have had his and hers rods at least 3 times. Right now we have 55 Oldsmobiles. Her's is the pretty one. Mines the mean looking one.....................
