Wow. Brings back memories. I haven't seen fish-scale graphics in decades. Your dad is one of the guys that kept the hot rod scene alive through the muscle-car years. Thanks for sharing with us, Terri. Very nice of you.

  6. Terri,

"More to follow" is an understatement ... awesome stuff!

Thanks so much for taking the time to scan all of these ... upload them to your Photobucket account ... and then post them here on the H.A.M.B. ... very much appreciated!

I could comment about every single photo you posted ... but I'll refrain from boring folks ... and just let the pics speak for themselves!

    Thanks again for sharing!

    Wow!!! Great pics!!!

  9. OK ... I lied! ... I do have to comment about two of the photos ...

    1) Although I've heard about your Dad's Deuce 5-window Coupe, this is the first picture I've actually seen of it:

    Andy Brizio's '32 5wd Coupe.jpg

... simply Bitchin' ... and very HAMB friendly! :) ... do you have any more pics of it? ... and/or does your Dad know what ever became of it?

    2) Any idea who owns the HEMI-powered, chopped & channeled, '32 5wd in the two pictures (circled in red) on the shop wall? :

    Photos on Shop Wall.jpg

    ... those 8x10 B&W prints look very similar to these ;) :D:

  11. Terri,

Your family is such a huge part of NorCal and Bay Area rodding... very cool of you to take the time to share your pictures.

I'm only 40... so memories include the All Ford Picnic (Stockton?) and seeing your dad (and brother) involved with the Nostalgia Nationals in Fremont... and of course The Oakland Roadster Show... way cool... wish I could hop in the wayback machine.

  12. Yes (but I won't hi-jack this thread with them).

Note: There's a cool pic of Don's "Golden State T" in the CRAGAR Ad on page 9 of TRJ #47 ... and some more recent pics HERE.

One should mention for the young kids on the H.A.M.B. that in the late sixties early seventies a fully finished, chromed out, custom painted T-Bucket was as desirable as a Deuce Roadster or 3-window coupe. Trends sure have changed since then.....

Thanx for these! Always like those Volks rods. I wonder what a modern one would be like with a blown Subaru in it! Gary
