I started looking through threads and magazines for '33-'34 Roadster and I am definitely on the fence with the running boards. They look great both ways!!!

I will say this though, if you do fenderless I think it's mandatory to run a hood. They just don't have the same cool look with out it.

Shit,Chris, you change your cars more often than I change my underware!:D
    Another vote for no fenders.
    Mark.

  6. Thats kind of surprising coming from you! See you tonight for volunteer work :D

  7. I gotta come up with a hood, got a lead on some nice inner fenders. I'm still on the fence either way. I do have a nice set of rear fenders...thats the hardest part!

  8. A nice set of rear fenders may help you find a hood :D

I agree- simple highboy (maybe a cut down '37 truck shell)! There was a black highoy coupe in American Rodder years ago (mid 80's) that really started my love for hot rods.

  9. Yeah, those rear fenders fell into my lap and I really don't want to get rid of em. No matter how the car is built, it would not take much to swap it to the other version!

  20. That grill USED to be mine...but I sold it too my dad and am just using it for ock up as I have no 33/34 grills at the moment. Hate to tell ya, but that grill will probably end up on the phaeton!

I aboat shit my self, I thought you carved up the phaeton , by the way they made a hell of a lot more roadsters than phaetons, to a ratio of 10-1 , so sounds like your dad won! but you got what you wanted. also wood-art makes all the wood for those bodys, so dont butcher them .
