Or... stretch the bumper out about 3" and lower it 1". Fill the space under the taillights at the same angle as the taillights:

Nice Work Ian!!! Do my eye deceive or am I seeing normal dude paint removal and not the perfect squares that you are used to doing on the trunk? You're slipping!!!! Hahahaha!!!

I think the tail lights look really good with that bumper and give it an early 60's kustom look. I like!

Right on Mitch!! yes the gas door is gone!!:) Im relocating the nozzle in the trunk on the driver's side!! Ill be done thursday for sure!!! Im leaving friday morning for VIVA and coming back monday, you can pick her next week or thursday night if you want , you let me know!!:)

Im very much relieved that you like it!!:)

If you wanna chop in the future, we'll talk about it!!! I think she would look good with a little less roof, and slanted pillars, it would flow with the tail lights!!:D

Yes! If nobody comes through in the next week or so, the galaxie is getting a make over and that's gonna take me at least 2 months!!

I took the original filler neck and in going to relocate inside and run a vent tube through the trunk floor, that simple. Mitch is running a reproduction plastic tank, not the mustang. ill post pics later. it's the last thing im gonna do. i have to finish the hood.... almost done!

    ..

I love chopped coupes.... what can i say!!:D

Hey thanx man, Leading is really not that hard, just time consuming and i little more costly. I'm still new at it, but i really enjoy doing it.

Back in the day,it was filled with lead instead of "BONDO",hence the term"Lead Sled".I have purchased cars in the past that boasted,"body repairs done in "LEAD"! Only to discover tons of the stuff applied to cover up bad metal work!Beware,of so called lead slingers! They hide behind the term! You know who you are!

Interesting how one can't win when it come down to clean things up with ANY kind of filler!! We all aspire to do top notch work like Walden or Foster, but not all of us are there yet and most never will, so we do the best we can to get it as close and use the filler of choice, i happen to like using lead now, so fuck it!!:)

  22. Probably way too late, but I pulled the bumper back about 2", and that the pieces below the lights come down straighter... I thought the area below the tailights came too close to the inside edge of the bumper. But mine looks a little less distinctive... kinda generic

    Hey thanx!!:)

HAHA!! Hey collin, how are you man??

Cool photoshop !!! I almost pulled the bumper bac and dropped it but the splash pan would have looked really long and flat. Just didint look right, at least for me!

  26. 52-54 Ford bumper might've looked good, I would've tried it but I couldn't find one near enough in angle...

BTW, your car makes my pants fit funny.
