I haven't been in years, but I have a new project so am considering it. Do they still circle the race track and use the Expo center?

My dad and I will be at the track on Thursday and the Expo when it opens Friday.

 

Yep and yep. We didn't make it all the way around the race track last year.

I think I just spent most of my swapmeet money in the past few days though as I picked up a Cad 500 and turbo 400 for the 71, a Torch set with bottles for the shop and today an S-10 T-5 for the A-V8 project. Not sure if I will have much spending money for Portland now.

 

Been waiting all year. Have a long shopping list so I should drag some shit home.

 

We'll be coming down.

I will be heading out for this. I have a pretty big shopping list also.

 

Probably headed down on Friday for a two day'er. Seeing if I can get somebody go down with. It's at least good for a look.

Will also be up at the "Becker's Do it Yourself Restorations" booth by the main entrance of Hall A helpin' Chris (powerwagonmaniac) and his parents, so drop by and say "Hi"! Chris and I would love to meet some more local H.A.M.B.ers!!

I'll be there from Wednesday afternoon through Sunday. I need a new pair of shoes first, though.

 

I try to bring a second pair so I can let the first ones cool down. Kind of like the pits, only that's what it smells like. Looking forward to VooDoo too.

Hi to all my HAMB friends: I have moved after over 20 years in the C Hall in the corner, to a new single space 3275 in the D Hall. I will have a load of nice newly rebuilt S-W convex lens gauges in all desirable models and lots of other neatoldstuff like race car hand fuel pumps, vintage hot rod and racing literature.
Catalan wheel spinners and gearshift knobs, a original Model A Moto-meter with the 9 cyl.radial airplane engine and prop ornament. Have a nice selection of the Hard to find St. Christopher medal car pins as the final touch for your hot rod. I also have a very nice and shiny Ford/Merc early magneto angle drive just waiting for one of you to put a magneto in it for your traditional hot rod flathead engine. Please stop by and visit me in my new spot. Terry and his neatoldstuff!

 

I will be there set up selling my shift knobs and rusty car diorama's. In the diecast car area. Will also have some tall shifters I'm having made.

I will be there again. We uually breeze through Thursday around the track and then Friday take all day looking and buying things I don't need. Saturday I do the expo and buy stuff early in the morning so that by Saturday night I have carried 100 lbs of crap around all day and my knuckles drag on the ground. If you want to say hi, just follow the blood stains from my knuckles to the RV area.

 

I am going to try and weasel my way out of the house for a few hours, hopefully on Friday. Didn't bring a lot home last year. Maybe they will have a bunch of Nailhead stuff this year!!

Unique Tin C.C. out of Longview will be there From wed. night through Sunday. We have 5-6 booths in the pit area down at the track. Been waitin all year. Shit! Im broke.
