I really like what you're doing. Big thumbs up on the drip rails. Shaving em off ruins most chops. I admire your restraint. Nice lines and no "cartoon" proportions.

This car just keeps getting sweeter looking.............the drip rails are definitely a plus. I may just have to go out and get a coupe now!!!

He did super nice work on the chop and it looks cool for a custom but personally dig the roof lines on a business coupe, I've altered just about everything else on mine but for me the stock roof lines and the grille is what makes me love these fat bastards. JMHO

I really like the lines on your car! That is one of the best chop profiles I've seen!

I moved to the inside and re-sized the window frames. Then on to the garnish moldings.

Hey Tim.....does your hood fit ?......mine's a bitch....I've bent it all over to get it close, but it's not good....I was just wondering if it's a common problem with 41's.......Also, I took these pix of my car the other day.....What a difference !....2 different styles for sure !.....But they both work....congrats on the new look, I like it a lot.....nice and greasy......

The hinges needed some attention but it was ok. None of the doors or trunk lid fit great, they all took some work. For sure too different aproaches doesnt look like the same car does it? Yours looks great!

That roof just f l o w s...Keeping that rear window from shrinking too much really keeps everything in proportion.

    Love this build!

    Hey,
What kinda shape are the hood hinges in? What's left of the core support mounts, the rubber piece/s?
If the hinges are in good order (no slop), the fenders and hood panel are straight, and the core support is in correct alignment, that leaves the latch.
Bad hinges, bent metal, core support out of alignment & a bad/misaligned hood latch all add up to poor sheetmetal alignment!
