lengthening a frame

just out of curiousity, anybody out there ever lengthened an s10 (or any other car) frame for a frame swap?

 

i did my model a frame 7 1/2 inches to fit in the yblock without cutting the firewall

 

PM me, just did a 78 B body GM passenger car frame 5"

 

I just get out the ol' handy Metal Stretcher ! ! LOL....

 

S-10 frames run different lenghts, might be worth finding a new one.
