  1. Just bought it the other day for $500. It has some cool history which I'll tell you about later.

53olds---Looks like a great find for the money. Hood and grille have a 1960 look to them as compared to a 59 but either way it is a good buy. What are your plans for it???

  3. Yeah I forgot to say it has a 60 nose. I Don't really know about plans yet, just want to get it running first. Probably lowered, black, and keep the slots, different size tires.

  4. I'm a big fan of slots. That gauge panel is nice too. Great score...that would be like a $1500-$2000 truck out here.

Great truck! Check out the 57-60 F-100 club under the social groups here on the HAMB. You should consider joining. I have a 59 Ford Panel project to keep me occupied.

  15. alreadyjoined, you have pics of your panel on there?

  16. Ok so You want to here the history? (To make the story make sense the guy I bought it from 's name is Tony) Ok so Tony's Grandfather bought it brand new off the manufacture in 1959. He painted it Pearl White, and customized it and drove it round like that for years. Then he died, gave it to Tony's step dad who drove it around, cruised it,etc. Then he gave it to Tony and it wa Tony's daily in the 90's...then he started tinkering with it and the engine threw a rod so he pulled it and put it in the bed. Then he just parked it on the side of his house.....So I bought it! I'm gonna put a Plymouth 318 (it's all I got) with an auto tranny. Gonna get the slots polished up and run those. I'm also gonna put it back to white with Purple pearl, lowered, etc. Me and my Grandpa Attastude are building it. I started sanding bondo spots the other day, so I know have black primer spots everywhere. Pretty Cool Huh? I've always loved the 57-60 F100's.....NOW I HAVE ONE!!!!

damn cool truck and damn cool story. don't fret about the 318, you can put whatever you want in it! digging the slots and the paint plan.
i had a '59 shortbox for a while, my Dad had a '60, gotta love an effie.

(i had an O/T Datsun 510 wagon in college, white, with many black primer spots... my Mom called it the Leopard..)

I have all of the headlights and mounting hardware along with a decent crome grill if you need it.

  21. Is it a 1960 grill? Because that's what is on there, I have the surrounds....chrome
