I'm trying to upload pictures from photobucket by copying the image code and pasting to the URL. I keep getting an invalid file message. What am I doung wrong? Thanks
Whats your photo bucket site?,,I'll see if I can post from it. HRP Went to mine and checked,,,use the IMG CODE,,
Make sure you remove one of the http:// from the beginning of the URL code. The HAMB automatically adds one on when you select the little mountain picture tab and there is one attached to the URL from photo bucket. Unless you scroll back to the beginning of your link you would never see it doubled and it will not allow the image to load with two of them there.
I really appreciate the help but maybe I am too dense to make this work! I've tried eliminating the http:// and tried the html code but still get the same error message. Think I'll see if my grandson can figure out what I'm doing wrong!
Go to your photobucket sight and choose the photo you want to post.. Drag cursor down tuntill the 4 options pop up,, Email & Im Direct link HTML code IMG code <------use this one For posting on the HAMB Left click your mouse on the IMG code,,it should hi-light in blue. Right click to copy.then left click to attach, after you compose your thread for what you need to say,,simply right click and you should see undo ,paste and delete,,just left click on paste and you should have a photo. HRP
I've been able to copy the picture on photobucket and simply paste it into the message section successfully. I did have to reduce the size but otherwise it worked. I hope that helps you, it sure is confusing and nothing anyone else told me worked! Tom
Arrgh!!! I can get a pic in the regular thread posts. But I'm trying to get a pic in a social group post so this may make a difference. I have tried all the suggestions and still get the red x. I went in and copied the url - no go, I got the img link - no go. Guess I'll try to copy the actual pic and see what happens. So I copied the pic and it went here. Now to see about the social group. didn't know it would be so big tho.
