I went last night and I think that the show has improved over last years version. There are much fewer tuners. The display of nostalgia top fuel cars (Garlits, Kalitta, Snake) is bitchin. Tommy Steeds' new NT/F dragster (Mr Boston) was my favorite.

I just got back from the show...it was 100% better than last year and the past several years for that matter. Great selection of cars, got to see a lot of friends after a long winter and there weren't many tuners at all.

That frikin Town Fair robot has to go though...what a noisey waste of time in the middle of the show that was!

My apologies: I didn't see this thread until after I opened one for WOW. Please delete my other one or tell me how to delete it. Thanks
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Went to WOW yesterday in the friggin' monsoon we are having. Holy crap we've had a lot of rain and like some members here are flooding all over the place. So far, most of my stuff is high and dry.

I didn't take a lot of photos like I normally would because the place was mobbed and just walking around was not easy. Nothing like a Nor'easter and flooding to bring all the motorheads out.

There was some nice arm candy talent walking around though, and I got to meet Henry Winkler "The Fonz" from Happy Days. Saw some cool shit there and was surprised to see a '64 Chevy Cheetah which I had totally forgotten all about Chevy even making until yesterday. Pretty cool factory race car that does not look like your grandmother's 4 door Biscayne!

Click on the image below for a slide show of the pics I took:

All in all the best WOW I have been to. thought the vendors have been better in the past. far too many collectible dealers. The cars were great. Hope next year is as good or better.

Thought overall the show was good with a couple of exceptions.

I agree! I was up from the sunshine state for the week so I took in this show. There was everything there. Even lady wrestling and roller durby. I had the main squeese with me so I had to behave my self but it brought back memories. Speaking of memories there was a guy there that had an old motor scooter painted the same as his car. I had a scooter like that. It was a good take and I even got home in time to catch the GATOR NATIONALS.
