According to Dad, A Ford truck, a 1951 Magnolia Oil Company service truck. That was March of '55. The trip would have been from Abilene to Sweetwater and probably down a lease road to home. I still love the smell of H2S gas in the morning..........Those that know that smell know the smell.

50 Chevy "deluxe" 4dr...that's what the old man called her Dad "customized" her with EXTRA stainless body trim from a few other junkyard finds...

I drove my wife and now 8 year old son home in my 63 Sedan de Ville....neither one of'em even knew they'd left the hospital till we pulled in the driveway! LOL!!!

I was born in Dec. of '46 - came home in a '37 Plymouth Flatback. All three of our children came home from the hospital in Model A Fords. Each one in a different one...
Daughter in a 31 Special Delivery (1980), Son in a 31 Phateon (1984), and second Daughter in a 30 Tudor (1990). My wife says "No more Model A's!" I wonder what she means???

I think it was a '60 chevy, not positive.

I do know my ol man blew a tire in his corvair and rolled it on the way to meet my mom at the hospital. He ended up in the bed beside her as a result.
