heres a list of my plans
-chopped hard top conversion with custom sail pannels made
-full air ride with triangulated four link out back and stock chassis z'd up front...
-channel and build a new floor for the car the original one is very rusty
    -chevy 350/350 combo
    -extended,sloped,and peaked quarters,shave everything,french headlights,peaked hood,custom cruiser skirts,stock grill surround molded to fenders and hood,stock grill shortened and make it a floater,replace passenger side quarter panel,rechrome bumpers,frenched am/fm antenna
-59 impala dash, tuck and rolled interior
-paint job not sure on color
    -chrome steelies with 2.5" www
    -shave and paint firewall
-make new inner fenders with heater components deleted

i have alot more ideas just dont have my list by me

    Welcome, Cool car.

Hopefully the slow build will steady your direction:rolleyes:

  5. Join the '54 ford group, and coupes are very sharp looking cars. It makes the deck look a mile long. If you aren't using the dash, I'm interested in some pieces.

If you change your mind about subframing/swaping the frame, I bet you could get the frame about 2'' off the ground (w/out hacking the floor/tunnel!) with the stock setup (with 26'' tall tires) and then you could channel the body the rest of the way down...at least that's what I'm doing with mine. If its a 54 it should have balljoints. Good luck and keep usposted.
