This is a past piece, but I'm posting it again because right now it's being auctioned off on the board to help Jason Graham. I saw NotStock's pics last week and felt compelled to try to help someway.

Check out the auction here: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=453544

Here is one of the new ones I did for my show at Gasoline in April.
    Hope you dig it.
    I call it "Terraplane Blues".
    I sure dig them Hudsons!

I was ready to post a nasty looking skull with one eye but dtroit Dinosaur's stylish contribution with those cool suits put me in a different kind of mood. This one's called "Girl Needs a Shoebox."

ShortBus, what lenses you using to create those? Looks like some plastic lens action going on, which is awesome. I was thinking maybe a Lensbaby or something similar.

Each week I come here but normally, there are just so many posts that I don't comment for fear that I'll leave out some really great work. Well, this morning there's only a dozen or so, so here goes.

Josh: your work never ceases to amaze me.
Clysdale: That will look great as a 20x30. I love big prints.
Rick: Is that the 'LensBaby?' And what is the orange vehicle on your site (second row, fifth from left)
Gary: That is one awesome looking vehicle. Is it based on a bug? I'd love to change the front to one wheel and have a trike.
Dinosaur: Boy that brings back memories. I used to read those paperbacks back in the old days :)
Monster: Great work. I bet the skull was good also.
Corrie: Wow, looks like everyone is doing the retro/pin-up thing this week.
hotrd32: Beautiful shot and love the conversion. I'd like to see a lot more vignetting around the corners to really highlight the car but that's just me.
Dutch: I can see the Tees flying off the shelf now. Beautiful work.
Hidden, I'm a big fan of yours even though I don't always comment. Do you do these in illustrator or on paper? (I'm trying to learn Illustrator)
Robin: Major props on the Tank. Mmmm, now if I could just make that fit my V-Star...hehehe
Dubie: I'm definitely partial to bike stuff since I ride but not sure I could feel comfortable with that staring up at me...;) Beautiful work.
Johnny: You've acheived your purpose. Great image and I can't tell if it's an illustration or a photo.
And now, my submission for the week. A bit OT but it's what I did.

Afraid I don't have much that's H.A.M.B. worthy, but I'll post these... I wasn't 100% happy with the T. Originally had a droolin' bug-eyed goon driving the car, but the customer wanted him cleaned up. Now he's too purty...

Hinson, they are all digital. I posted some wireframes a few weeks back on the FAS. Just to show the inner workings of them.

My first time posting in the Friday art show. Sort of a pre-war dry lakes style Model A roadster.

All I got done this week, wooden tissue box. Not sure it's done yet, may have to look at it awhile, sometimes less is more.
