I am looking to buy a set of salt flat wheels for my model a and a set of wheels for my impala? any suggestions to where to buy from? or any places to stay away from?
So far it seems that summit racing and jegs are the cheapest on the american racing salt flat wheels.
    thanks

Not really sure what you mena by "salt flat wheels" but Rally America right here on the HAMB comes highly recommended

  3. And Stockton Wheel does not. Not sure if they have what you're looking for anyway, but search before buying from them.

  4. you are talking American Racing Salt Flats , correct? the last two sets of American wheels i bought i got from my local tire store..they gave me the best price and there was no shipping because they picked them up from the warehouse

Looks like to me you figured it out in your post... summit or jegs... doesn't one of them have free shipping? That's where I'd get em if I were you.

Ron at RONSRIMS 888 734-1999 - he sells a lot of American Racing wheels, including the special order items and has great prices and great service.

I've dealt with Ron in the past too, real stand-up guy, first class service. He also sells on Ebay. Personally I'd check with him first if I were buying another set of Americans.

I just ordered a set of wheels (Cragars) from Summit - fast service with good communication. No shipping charges but there was like a $10 'handling fee' - not bad for 4 wheels.

I've bought 5 sets of wheels thru Newstalgia Wheel co. & they are excellent people to deal with.

I would buy local. If there is a problem it much easier to resolve in person.

Another vote for Newstalgia. They were lowest price on my American TTO's and got them to me in two days.

American Racing Salt Flats are special order and usually take 4-6 weeks from date of order.
