Hello !!! Let me introduce myself ... Serge of France, I live in southern France near Toulouse and I have a "small rod French" like many rodders of my country calls! Indeed ... This is not a Ford, he has no V8 or 6 in line, not channeled and it is small ... More of flaw didn't no?! As I speak a very bad English, I use a translator to correspond with you ... I'm sorry in advance! My job is backliner and roadie for concerts, festivals, ... If i come here it's because it's a pleasure to see the projects here. Lot of idea and inspiration for me. A quick overview of my hot rod I have bought "turn key" It's a french Peugeot 201 from 1932, originally a "coupé doctor" who has been transformed into pick up because the original body leaving only the cow, doors and sides pannels! He was a pick-up many years ago... All the body is in steel and is chopped 2", rear cabin reformed from a Sedan 201 rear , the frame is original with an added cross member. The engine, transmission and rear axle from a Aronde Simca 1960. The hydraulic front brakes are also from the Aronde and are adapted to the rockets being behind the 201. The engine is a four banger. In preparation for the customize it my way: 4 new wheels with Firestone whitewalls. A new grille and a removable hood from a . french tractor !!! A new dashboard, finish the interior and maybe a new rear long dump ( bed ?). Change engine with another Simca four banger of 75 HP instead of 48 today, with 2 carburetors on a new intake manifold. Other things ?... Tell me !!! Thank you for welcoming me with you!
