Hot Turkey, you have one nice coupe guy. I have followed your thread about it. You did a super job and it was cool seeing Shelby help you.

Here is the engine in my 55'. 88 5.0 and AOD out of a Crown Vic.

Force's cars are powered by a new engine that was designed by Medlen, Fedderly, Coil and Ford and is considered a Ford engine, the Boss 500.

Here is one of the Maverick and I will be hitting the strip this Saturday for Cert'ing/Tech/Test&Tune. The car has gone 9.9's before but I will settle for some 10.5's.
Motor is 408ci CHP, Roush/Yates heads/special Crower solid roller, Dawson headers/SCAT crank with Probe rods/pistons with 2spd Powerglide. Car has been purpose built since the late 70's and was contestant at the 79 Winternationals at Pomona and was built by Cook Motorsports....................of the Ole Stone/Woods/Cook stable.

Almost forgot this one..............my neighbor's son has this and it is on the road and semi-finished. He took me for a ride with stock Camaro tires/wheels and scared the crap out of me.....................it is probably putting down 450HP to the RW's................pretty good for a little 347 stroker.

I won't post the rest of the car since it's not HAMB material, but i'm building a JY DIY setup using mostly parts scrounged from the wrecking yard, and stuff I had laying around I hope to have about 5k in the whole setup, BBF in a brand x body. Should be driving around this spring.

My unfinished 29. 351W C4 8" I found Headman Headers to be real tight and they have the "Ball Collector Seal" no gaskets to blow out. :)

FANATIC...WELL you can look at my picture album, and see my little ford mill. but to be honest, i'am a chevy. man. it's not so much that chevys. are cheep. but you get more BANG for your buck. and that's the TRUTH! why do you think 90% of hotrods have chevy mills. however if money is no object, WELL i would run a BIG chrysler HEMI. just keeping it real...POP.

Why would you add this to a powered by Ford thread? This thread is for the other 10%, the ones with good taste.

John Force has been running a Ford designed HEMI engine in his car for the past couple of years.

Frenchy, That is one beautiful hot rod. Is that the 267 ci or the 292? Lincoln made V-12s from 1936 to 1948, the longest running American V-12 ever produced.

You guys will have to figure out a way to talk about vehicle brands without the Drama.

Or this Thread will go away...
