Thanks for info. Mine is 107 1/4". Looks like someone added some to it along the way. There is a bump in the frame members about halfway between the front axle and the front of the body. It has a 302 Ford V8 so guess they added that to keep from remaking the firewall?

Is that safe? Is it OK? Do I have a problem? THis is my first build.

It's not uncommon to stretch the front of the frame a bit for motor clearance and just 'cus it can help the proportions of a car when done right. If you are worried about the strength and safty of the frame fine someone in your area that you trust to take a look at it. I bet if you post some high quality pictures here there are more than a few guys that would take a look at it and give you some guidence! Congrats on your first build buy the way!

it's ok as long as you aren't running a hood, and for future knowledge model A's all have the same wheelbase coupes, roadsters, sedans, and trucks 28-31 except for the big trucks of course

Thanks guys. Will have a respected local builder take a look at it. No hood, just motor.

    The knowledge here is amazing.

I plan on doing the same thing on my A frame. Like Used Up Junk said, as long as it was done properly and it should be good to go.
