Well since everyone seems to post pics of the progress they do to their cars,i finally got off my ass and uploaded some of mine.I have been buying stuff for it for about a year and only got real serious about putting it together 2 months ago. this is what i started with... the mock up.. "is that what it gonna look like?" before channel
i had to pull the chassis outside today to turn it around so i could drop the motor/trans in...all painted up... and before some smart ass say's it,that's not where the column drop is gonna sit...haha
hey very cool.... guess you didn't go to the Penngrove show last weekend. I was looking for the HOT ROD REVOLUTION photo extravaganza.
Thanks for the comments brothers.......Heres some more shots of whats been happening in my tiny garage....
So its been a while since i updated this thread.I am glad to say that the car is almost ready for the road. The radiator is in(66 mustang)and all the lines are ran for the engine/trans. and brakes.I will be handling the wiring this weekend.Today I ordered the new tank from The Hot Rod Co.(alliance vendor)and should be picking up my shortened driveshaft sometime in the next week...heres a few pics
It's been a while since i updated this..Ditched the T bucket and got a '29 sport coupe body that was already cut down. The front end got pulled back some since these pics were taken. The h.a.m.b.'s own Death Metal Garage hooked up some floors and mounted the body for me.Wired the car and got fuel, brakes and everything else ran.Next up is some lake headers(zoomies for sale..anyone?),new drag link and steering column. Also got the reg. taken care of(big relief, since i had nothing to work from)...Should be on the road in time for rainy season(if we get one in Cali this year?)
Heres some updated shots. The front has been pulled in ..(thanks to our own Jordan for one of his dropped axles)
Next up will be fixing that decklid..any local H.A.M.B.er's wanna make some $ before i take it to a stranger?
Been a long time since i updated this thread.Since i last posted,i been driving the shit out of this thing.Put a lil over a 1000 miles on it,so i think by now all the bugs are worked out. Finally got the interior done.. And took it to its first public appearance, last weekends Style Kings show.. This week it gauges install time...Almost time to start another project!
