WOW!! Roger you've been busy..... I didn't realize that you were going to tear
the car down again. Love your choice of color. It will really pop in the sun.

    Thanks for the update.

    Happy Trails,

    Mick

Just read all sixteen pages. Wow. Looking great. I hope you get your engine situation fixed. It looked great in the primer can't wait to see paint.

Looking sharp man, I love that color! The carpet does seem a little loud, what color are you thinking of switching to?

It IS loud...it was a mistake when it got installed and I knew it...I thot I might get used to it, but didn't happen. It's just wrong...

The color well be more of a dark wine color...it matches the fabric in the seats perfectly.

Thanx for the compliment...I don't know about body mounts or if you can even get new ones...I didn't have to worry about that...ColoRODo cars seldom have rust issues (if that's your problem), or are you talking about rubber mounts...??? I'd suspect you'd prolly have to get them off a parts car somewhere...

The color looks great. You are making alot of progress and it is looking good. Can't wait to catch up with you some time to see it in person.

  19. The rubber mounts show up new on flea-bay quite often. They are just flat rubber cut in squares with a hole in 'em!

    Hey VB,

It may be nicer weather where you are...but it ain't around here...just got dumped on by a ColoRODo spring snowstorm Tuesday, 12 inches in my back yard...

But, yep, about done...bodywork is 90% done. Fired the new engine last Saturday, sounds strong....and then just a few more minor things to take care of : hang the front fenders and hood (doors already hung), hang the trunk, paint the whole car, then put all the trim back on the car, hang newly chromed front bumper and Dagmars (Oooooooo, are they purdy...!!!), hang newly finished rear bumper, install new front windshield, install new backlight, put the dash back together, redo the side glass and assemble electric motors and tracks in the doors, rip out old destroyed carpet, install new better colored carpet, reassemble the complete interior, put the interior moldings back in and polish it. Should be done and drivable mid-May...

    Pics soon...
