OK men and Women... when we started talking about hosting the Texas Thaw many said it would not be a big event and would be to hard to put on without many people and we proved them WRONG, with help from others!!!!! Now, we have a chance to be lucky enough to have 2 races in our area and one in near by Ardmore.

The Dirty's, and Rob Ragland (Ardmore Dragway) have ALWAYS been supporters of us (Thaw)... So now I ask of you.... Please help support them. Not sure about Rob's sponsorship, so i will let him chime in, but I know its worth it cause he host killer events. Rusty and Danny's sponsorship is CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP... so help them out if ya can.

Slide and Chandler have already got killer art and website for them. See ya in May... i will be the big bastard with the smile wider then my belly over that at Yellow belly

Also put the word out to the Oldsmobile community (those that race anyway) thru the RealOldsPower board, there are quite a few guys here in TX that can participate...

I'm gathering parts as quickly as possible, so we can make it! Bringing half a dozen spectators too to help fund the effort :)

its official, camping will be on for Friday night as well as test and tune, security will be on hand the whole night. Those wanting to camp for the night will need to be self contained units with generator, etc. no electrical hook up available.

The Friday night test and tune will probably run from 6pm to 10pm depending on the early turn out. I am not much good at Chili so the cossecion stand will be open for the goodies.

Looks like the pre-registration is getting some more movement, thanks so much for all the sponsors that have stepped up to help get this event of the groung its first year. If you want a free t-shirt you better pre-register as a racer. It is counting down fast and with the Roundup, Colin Casey Drags, and Ardmore drags, it will be here before we know it.

  30. NO MUSCLE CARS....... I repeat NO F***ING MUSCLE CARS

nostalgia means just that. Cars under 64 for most and 62 would be best. Keeps out the mustangs. Those guys have their own events. Their own races and shows and message boards. Keep them out of it
