Once again the Detroit autorama did not disappoint. The 5hour drive was well worth. it upstairs was a shimmering glare of chrome as far as the eye could see, but when you got past the the overly high priced cars taking up the front row that's when the real show started. Here some pics from up stairs enjoy.

And then there was downstairs I think by next year the traditional cars should take over the basement.I don't know of many shows where you can see a Car jump through a hoop, and the artist row was killer so much talent in one little space awesome.

Thanks for the pictures. Nice to see the older style dragsters. The aggravation rail reminds me of Flamin' Frank.

As usual, it was a great show. The basement had some nice cars but there were also a few scary pieces of crap. It's getting better but when will some of the knuckleheads realize what they call 'rat rods' are not cool. They should replace the time they are taking trying to be cool into making their rides safe. I know it's an old story but it's worth repeating.

Thank you for the pictures. Is it okay if I add a few? (as opposed to the 97 different threads on GNRS?)

Detroit was worth going to again. The basement is my favorite part to see, and there are some nice cars down there. For every nice car though, there are about a half dozen extraordinary pieces of shit.
My favorite car though, upstairs or basement, is this black sedan. Killer in every way.
Upstairs, this phaeton was stuffed way in the corner, but what a nice car.

It was a HAMB'o'rama! We were there for about 4 hours today. Got to see some great cars, great folks, and great art. Can't wait to take part next year.

That old gulf truck is from temperence, MI near the stateline by toledo. Father and son has two trucks. I believe that truck use to be a patina color with his name on the side. They just painted it like that I would say in the last year or so look great cool truck
