Made these a while back.Thought i'd share for those that like to build over buy.

Started by shaping some foam to desired shape(not this one)And transferred over to a wooden buck.Yeah it caught fire..

Split the shape into four sides and shaped panels with English wheel and stretchers.

Made the mount with large dia pipe and large ball pein hammer

    Flange for headlight base screws

Cut down a lamp assembly from an English Zephyr and got rid of the spring adjusters so it'll sit flat.

All welded and trim ring fitted.Need to point out that they are NOT the mounts being used.Since cut down an A light bar.Missing some pics,so apologies for the random sequence..

Clever, and nice job of planning/construction. Are the headlight trim rings Ford Zephyr as well?

Neat lights, I like unusual lights, I went a different route when i made mine and used GRP, Used 36 lenses and refectors.

Thanks for posting the pics, buddy ! It´s amazing how it very much looks like the german Opels of that decade ! It reminds me of my 65 Opel Rekord.
...Oops, sorry for that off topic thing, but I really like the Holdens, Opels and Vauxhalls of the 60´s.

  21. It probably IS related to the Opel, since Opel and Holden are both GM, and both use similar styling across model lines.
