I used to be from Charleston myself. Where are you at? People out here in Cali don't believe you when you tell them how fast things rust back in WV!...

Grantsville, I've been thru there on 16 [IMG] - My family is from MacFarland (rt 47) in Ritchie County, I was born in Parkersburg and we lived in Vienna until the folks loaded up the Saratoga and headed to Fla.

Nobody down here knows what a "holler" is let alone a "run, bottom or a top"

Fairmont, WV - Used to race and work at Eldora Dragway which was about 3 miles from where I live. You could hear the cars racing at my house. Looking for anyone who may have old pictures from there.

Two mi. west of I-77 between Charleston and Parkersburg. Back in the mid '60's thru the early '70's we used to run at Proctorville on Sat. nites and Winfield on Sundays except for the two years I spent with Uncle Sam.

  14. There are several H.A.M.B.'ers in the Charleston, WV area. I usually post a thread on here a few days before we get together. We usually meet for lunch or dinner at various local places each month. Our last gathering was for pizza in December at my garage, The Hot Rod Grille. Here are a few pics from that gathering. We plan to go to the World of Wheels in Huntington, WV in early March.

  24. Since it's your car, you should know, but actually it was not the one that did "mark it's territory" that day! That was a great outing and looking forward to doing it again in 2010.
