Here's a little Autorama sneak peek. I finally got my rear axle, and as usual fab32 saved my ass on that, thanks Frank!. So its officially a roller and almost ready for Autorama move in tomorrow morning. Looking at these two hot rods its hard for me to believe less than six years ago all I thought about was racing and didn't spend much time with hot rods on the brain. Now, all the racecar stuff is sold and all I think about is hot rods See everybody in Detroit tomorrow.
It must be a natural progression. I used to dump money at racing also. I'm just getting my feet wet with hot rods coming down from my Musclecar phase. I guess I'm evolving into a hobby that's really worthwhile. I do agree that the process of working things out in your head for the whole duration of the project is exhausting. I catch myself problem solving my project every free minute of the day.
Looks great. Glad to hear the thrash was worth it and your going to make the show. I hope to make it down to Detroit some time this weekend. I'll be looking for it if I do.
Scott, Roadster looks great, of course I would expect nothing less from you. Not gonna be able to make it to the 'Rama this year (one of the few drawbacks to having moved out West). Have a great time and tell the gang hi for me. - RBR (Roby)
Thanks man, the show just aint the same without ya. BTW, you have a spare room for the GNRS next year?
I thought this was kind of a cool shot from earlier today. I have to go to work and grab my trailer, then drop it off so I can load my motorcycle into the truck, then finish up some odds and ends. Thanks for all the compliments.
