Hi I'm Mike from Minnesota. I have also spent the last few months reading the forum and have finally stepped in and joined. After 11+ years away from building/owning any kind of street rod/classic, I dove back in on a '51 GMC 5 window truck. I have a donor s10 for a complete chasis swap and have started the dismantling process. I originally planned on an LS engine unfortunatley time, 2 young boys, and the full time job will force me to stick with the 4.3 v6 that came with the s10 (as much as it hurts me to say that!) I look forward to being a part of this group! Thanks!
Welcome from Arkansas! Im starting my build tomorrow, 49' GMC with an s10 swap, luckily the s10 I got from a buddy already had a nicely built 350 and a muncie 4 speed! Good luck cant wait to see the progress.
