Detroit Autorama 2010 Roll Call, Meet & Greet, & other useful info

I will be leaving in a few hours,.... to do my overnight deal at Cobo,.... I will try to get some shots, and if the old laptop works, I will try to put up a few pictures on Thursday.

The roof would be the best and easist opinion. I think it will cost you $6. Just take the elevator down to the main level from the roof and you are there.

My hubs and I will be up there on Sat, this will be our 1st time in Detroit. Cant wait to see you all there!

 

Does this go for Saturday too, or does it fill up quick? We need easy, painless and preferably warm.

I'm a little bit nervous as were loading up tonight and driving directly for this storm. We'll see what happens. If I'm not there, send an ambulance and a keg east on 80 please.

Basicly it works like this, Autorama follows Boat Show which follows the North American International Auto Show. The Autorama use to be in mid-Feb, in fact I remember when it used to be Valentine's weekend as I would go down there with my date. Makes no difference, Feb or March, we could still have nice or shitty weather both months. Last weekend was wonderful around here AND in 2008 in March when I drove Big Olds downtown for the show there was one set of tracks in the snow on I-96 eastbound as we had just had a hell of a snowstorm that night. It's a crapshoot no matter when the event is held. See ya down there.

and yeah, Larry is right, anyone show up at my place this weekend and you WILL be put to work on the kitchen. Larry lasted about 5 minutes on Saturday when he stopped to visit. As I approached him with tools in hand he took off running out the door.
