    Hey guys,

I'm not entirely new to the site; I've been here off and on as a spectator since college (6? years ago).

I've got a bunch of acquaintances that have been on here for quite some time. Thought I'd make it an official thing, and finally create an account, and hopefully contribute what I can.

Included is a shot of me with a kustom dragster the auto club and I built in college. We were just dumb kids, so try to be nice. :D

Wow guys, that was quick . . .

About a half-hour and I've got a handful of replies! Although I don't have a "traditional rod" of my own, I'll end up building one someday. Right now I'm spending my time (not as much as I like) on a '70 Skylark. Planning on doing panel-paint, etc., and making it mostly period correct looking.

It's not necessarily the rods themselves that draw me into the hobby, it's more about the heritage. Like everyone's saying, "Old Skool is the New Skool".

    Welcome to the HAMB!

I have a few questions for you....

You have "HUTCH" in your HAMB nick name thing, and in your profile you mentioned that Tuck tried to force himself on you....so my 1st question is are you into BMX bikes from the 1980's? 2nd question & more importantly, how did you get Corey Feldman to pose on the dragsters rear tire?

Your new friend on the HAMB,

    Wow, man, hold on a sec there . . . gettin a little creeped out . . . :D

That is me on the rear tire, not really into bmx bikes, but yes, err, um, I know Tuck, LOL, not that he forced himself on me or anything, ha!

Something tells me I should know you . . . but I have a terrible memory, care to refresh it?

Edit: *bangs head on desk* It is kinda creepy how I look like Corey Feldman in that pic, isn't it?

It's quite possible. Gotta get in touch with a few guys I know to see if they're going as well. Kinda depends on the finances as well- not that it should cost a ton, but I always seem to be short of cash at all the wrong times.

Forgive me, I'm just turning 25, and I actually had to look this up . . .

    (smacks head on desk, again)

  28. You do know the Symco Shakedown is run by a UW-Stout Alumni who also was in the UW-Stout Auto Club, right? I hear you can volunteer for a couple hours and get free admission.

    Wow....
you have a 1970's GM, BUT you had to look up a BMX reference from the mid 1980's, hmmm to boot you have a striking resemblence to 1980's star of Corey Feldman.

Your mentor Tuck maybe slipping, we will have to watch you around here.

    Hell Track indeed!

    Sincerely,

    Cheatercarl
