I like what you did with the door catches, very novel. might have to pinch that idea as they are next on my list for my chevy.

Also really likr the ivory wheels, nice change from hot rod red

You should be happy that you don't have half a bucket of bog (bondo) dust as well!

    Lookin good.

  16. removed the old rotten lower back panel.....drilled out the spot welds, a little cutting and she came right out.......little more work and she'll be properly fitted....... a little adhesive cleaner to remove the stickers and it's good to go.....panel came from Mac's who got it from EMS

What are your color choices? I was thinking Maroon and ivory for my car... Is yours getting chopped eventually? You make me feel lazy... I'll get my floors done in the next week or two. Great Job so far- Feels good when a project cooks right along!

  30. well it's been a little over a year, 13 months to be exact since I worked on the shoebox.....reason being ,I saw this '49 chevy 3100 I had to have....then I came across this great deal on this '52 IH L110 I couldn't pass up.......well ,the chev was "just throw a motor and trans in and drive,,hahaha....the IH was I'll work on that after I ....you know the drill.....I've been on the chev truck steady for a yr., in between I was on the IH.......
now I'm back on the shoebox, re-prepping the fire wall , both sides, getting ready to epoxy primer it........changed motors...got a 302, roller c-4 combo.......hopefully I can keep my fuckas on the shoebox for awhile......
