Rocket Girl 88 getting onboard.......

    Brought up in the car scene through my Dad who owned over sixty different cars 1964 and older during his lifetime. He started off with a 39 Bantam, went to a 36 Ford, a 49 Chevy, 46 Plymouth, and an estimated 15-16 different 55 Oldsmobiles which were his favorites. I enjoyed listening to him tell the stories of his life as it pertained to his cars, and the events marked by the different ones. Traffic light races in many of the Oldsmobiles, what car he had when he met and dated my Mom, what car I was brought home from the hospital in etc. Being the only child, I was the one who was elected to go out and be the gofer when he worked on them. In that process, over many years, I learned how to do maintenance and rebuild the Rochester 4 bbl carbs. My latest project is a 64 Ford Country Sedan long roof with a 390 which will serve as my daily driver.

    Thanks Butcherted and everyone for the greetings and with big thanks to NostalgiaWorks, you will likely see that big Pagoda Green and white beast finallly on the road this summer. They are doing a great job at finishing it up as well as getting me re-excited about it after such a long and difficult history.
