Cool thread! I cant wait to add some pics of mine to this thread when im done with all the paint and body work.

 

Its gone, but it was a 289 4-speed car, I bought it from the orginal owner, it was nice and like most cars I've had I should of kept it.

Our Comet is a '63. Originally a 260, but the engine was changed for a 289. It is a good little driver.

 

65 comet gasser in progress speedway frontend with spiral cure ride shocks,sun tach,ansen,steering wheel,crites hood.

 

65 cyclone with 69 cyclone rally wheels.

My new '65 that I bought a couple of months after I graduated from high school. 225hp, 3-speed (converted to Hurst floor shift), 202 2-dr sedan.

here is my 1964 more door, currently under construction.
its getting the mustang II front end treatment,
healthy 500 hp 302 windsor , c4 auto and 35 spline 9'' floater rear.

 

When Jerry Weesner was editor of Custom Rodder, he did a series of articles on customizing, using his Comet as a demo car. Anyone know if the car was ever finished?

That car went to Memory Lane and I heard it got cut up. Had a lot of Hines lead work on it too.

Mine got wrecked and was sold for parts. I never got any good pics of it either!

 

This was the aftermath... Used the 302/C4/8" and power steering on the 65 Falcon wagon that Coop has now. (Got the wagon from Memory Lane, ah the circle of life!)
