MN H.A.M.B.er Suffers Loss

Minnesota H.A.M.B.er “turbostude” has suffered the loss of the love of his life. It is not his ‘53 Olds Elsey or the blown Studebakers that were at Bonneville or the many Nortons that were his. Greg lost his wife Carla to a long battle with cancer Thursday.
Greg is the encouraging force to many motorhead activities in Minnesota. From the largest monthly motorcycling gathering in the country “First Thursday”. To his presence in the lizard shorts at the “Blind Lizard Rally” to his Bonneville record holding Studebaker, Greg has encouraged young and old to pursue the hot rod life.
Carla was the dear friend and gracious host there to greet the riders, when they opened their home, for the “Dictator for Life” motorcycle runs. She kept the home fires burning for their two children Andy and Elissa allowing Greg to save lives and befriend all us lost hot-rodders.
Please send him and his family your heart felt condolences.

 

Losing a partner has to be tough....condolences to him and to the family.

My wife and I will pray for you Greg. My wife endured cancer for two years before they declared her cancer free last August. In some way I can relate to your ordeal, I can't fell your tremendous loss but I know prayer works.

Greg brought the stude' to the Messaround last year. Great guy. I'm very sorry for your loss, I pray that the good Lord brings you and yours much peace.
